#1 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Colusa Local Agency Formation Commission will hold a public hearing on the following item: Consideration of a Sphere of Influence Update and Municipal Service Review for the City of Williams, LAFCO is charged with applying the policies and provisions of the Cortese-Knox-Hertzberg Act to its determinations regarding Municipal Service Reviews and Spheres of Influence. LAFCO is required to conduct a Municipal Service Review consistent with the policies and procedures of Colusa LAFCO and the LAFCO Act.
The Draft Municipal Service Review/Sphere of Influence update will be available for review at the Colusa County Clerk’s office located at 546 Jay Street in Colusa. California, and the LAFCO website www.colusacountylafco.org five (5) days prior to the hearing. The public hearing will be held at 546 Jay Street, Colusa California on the 1st day of August 2013 at 3:00 P.M., at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard. If you challenge the action of the Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only
those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Colusa Local Agency Formation Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.

PUBLIC WORKSHOP NOTICE
MAXWELL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT PROPOSAL TO ANNEX AND DETACH PROPERTIES TO AND FROM ITS DISTRICT
The Colusa Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCo) will conduct a public workshop on Thursday August 1st 2013 at the Colusa County Board of Supervisor’s Chambers located 546 Jay Street in Colusa at 3:00 pm.
You are receiving this notice since your property or agency may be affected by this proposal. The Commission invites you to attend the workshop where it will be discussing this proposal and requesting comments and input from interested property owners and agencies.
There will be no final Commission decision or action taken at this workshop. Consideration of this proposal will take place at a public hearing that has not yet been determined. You will be notified of that hearing sometime in the future.
